On 20 December 2011, the premiere of the documentary film “Михаил Горбачев. От первого лица” (Mikhail Gorbachev. First person account) took place at the movie theater “Пионер” / “Pioneer” (directed by Gulya Mirzoeva, produced by: Arte France, Mille et Une Films, Focus Pictures).
In this motion picture, the first and only President of the USSR recounts the key episodes from his life, talks about the occurences which have changed his establishing as a politician and which had influenced him on his way to power and shares his hopes for the future.
The world premiere of the film “Mихаил Горбачев. От первого лица” took place in Paris on 17 November, on 18 December was the European tv premiere on the Arte channel. The premiere on 20 December was organized by MGA and supported from Tatler and Beluga. The guests of Mikhail Gorbachev and the General Director of MGA Ksenia Gorbacheva on that evening at the “Pioneer” were such personalities as Alla Pugacheva, Gennadi Khazanov, Boris Akunin, Andrey Makarevich, Ksenia Sobchak, Ulyana Sergeinko, Mark Garber, Genrikh Padva, Vladimir Khotienko, Mikhail Shatz and Tatyana Lazareva, Konstantin and Elena Remchukov.
The premiere occured prior to the MGA Ceremony which will take place on 20 March in Berlin.
