MGA presents the Russian premiere of the documentary “Михаил Горбачев. От первого лица” (France)

On 20 December 2011, the premiere of the documentary film “Михаил Горбачев. От первого лица” (Mikhail Gorbachev. First person account) will take place at the movie theater “Пионер” / “Pioneer” (directed by Gulya Mirzoeva, produced by: Arte France, Mille et Une Films, Focus Pictures).

The year 2011 became an anniversary for the outstanding man of our time, the President of the USSR, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mikhail Gorbachev. The film had been produced before his 80th birthday. In this motion picture, President Gorbachev recounts the key episodes from his life, shares his secrets, talks about the occurences which have changed his establishing as a politician and which had influenced him on his way to power. The world premiere of the film “Mихаил Горбачев. От первого лица” took place in Paris on 17 November, on 18 December there will be a European tv premiere on the Arte channel. In the year 2012, the Russian tv audience will be able to watch this picture on Channel One.

The evening program includes: cocktail, introduction by Mikhail Gorbachev and MGA General Director Ksenia Gorbacheva, film demonstration (runtime: 43min).
